Delayed Registration
Yes, you heard that right. In more recent seasons we don't try to juggle Fall registration at the same time as we wrap up our music year. I think our student families appreciate it too. All they had to do is click a "We're In" button to express interest in receiving our registration package when it's ready.
We are hosting a special multi-level summer music camp that will be fun-filled with Bucket Drumming, Boomwhackers and a Music Theory focus. This is the 2nd year we've offered it as an "included" program with no additional cost to families, but we budget it for it through the year!
Ben Andrew's new collection, "The Piano Scale Book" with creative introductions using scale blocking and colour aids to unlock learning for students who love learning in fresh ways. I'll link Andrew Eales' fabulous blog post on this resource, as he highlights special aspects of this and has an immense library of reviews. You'll see more introductions from me on scale blocking as it's been something I've found very helpful with many students and I am excited to dive into this resource.
Do you have a resource you've LOVED using this Spring? Or perhaps you are teaching a piece that you especially love introducing - I'd love to hear about it. With Cheer! Amie Webster,
